Instrument & Controls Specialist
Position Summary: Responsible for performing engineering evaluations, including calculations and computer modeling, development of original designs, troubleshooting and repair of equipment, programming & troubleshooting control logic, specifying & implementing system’s instrumentation & control hardware and preparation of work documents for use by production personnel.
Position Requirements: Must be familiar with, able to operate, and understand the limitation of modern electrical analyzing equipment, including digitizing oscilloscopes. Other requirements include: familiarity with common industrial control programming software (DCS, SCADA, PLC) and industrial communication network protocols (Modbus, TCPIP, DeviceNet); relevant programming experience, preferably in a large industrial environment (i.e., power plant, paper mill, water treatment facility); Engineering or Computer Science degree is preferred; and ability and willingness to travel.

Mechanical Engineer
Position Summary: Responsible for the designing and troubleshooting of fluid and gas-handling systems and mechanical components and systems. This includes sizing and specifying equipment, computer modeling (CAD, CFD analysis/review), and repair of equipment. The primary focus of the Mechanical Engineer will be commercial mechanical project engineering tasks, however, design oriented tasks may be required from time to time.
Position Requirements: Requirements include: familiarity with and the ability to use modern computer based design and simulation software to perform detailed analysis of structures and systems; 5-7 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably with a utility pollution control background; prior experience taking large commercial systems from design through construction, including equipment checkout and commissioning; knowledge of fluid distribution, (liquid and gas); familiarity with equipment and systems that operate at elevated temperatures and pressures a plus; minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; ability and willingness to travel up to 25% (may include overnight stays).

Project Manager
Position Summary: Responsible for all aspects of Project Management covering all phases from proposal, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning to contract close-out of power plant pollution control equipment at customer sites. Must be capable of leading multi-discipline and multi-company team on one or more simultaneous projects.
Position Requirements: Must possess an Engineering degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience in an engineering/construction environment with a minimum of 5 years as a project manager. Is required to interact with technical experts and with managers and engineering staff outside of Powerspan (vendors, subcontractors and customers). Must possess excellent business and communications skills (written and verbal). Physical: Must participate in material handling, stand for long periods of time, climb on/over equipment. While at customers’ sites, will be required to visit work sites that may be located several stories above ground level and accessible only by stairways or ladders. Such sites are similar to heavy industrial areas and frequently require hearing and eye protection. Travel/Work Hours: Work hours will be dictated by the work at hand and is likely to include night and weekend work. Travel to customer sites required.

Project Controls Scheduler
Position Summary: Participates in project planning, including development of the budget and schedule with the ability to status the project. Responsible for estimating, scheduling, forecasting, progress measurement, change management, cost reporting and controls.
Position Requirements: Preparing, tracking and administering various aspects of project controls for large-scale commercial projects (>10mm). Preparing, maintaining, tracking and analyzing project budgets and schedules utilizing CPM and earned value techniques. This individual should be experienced in Primavera P3, Microsoft Project and Excel. Experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry is required. Power industry experience is a plus.
